Effects of this medicine

This medicine penetrates into skin and alleviate swelling and pain of the affected area by inhibiting synthesis of prostaglandin.
It is usually used for relief of inflammation/pain in osteoarthritis, muscle pain and posttraumatic swelling/pain.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

  • If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
    If you have or have a history of aspirin-induced asthma.
    If you have bronchial asthma.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

  • Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is ((        to be written by a healthcare professional))
  • In general, apply this medicine to the affected area once a day. This medicine contains 100 mg of the active ingredient anhydride in one sheet. Strictly follow the instructions.
  • Do not apply this medicine to the area with wound, mucosa, eczema or rash, or to eyes or around eyes. 
  • Remove this medicine at least 30 minutes before a bath. Do not use this medicine right after a bath.
  • Pay attention not to touch the mucosa of your eyes, nose or mouth/lips with your hands that have handled the plaster. 
  • If you miss a dose, apply the missed dose when you remember. You should never apply two doses at one time.
  • If you accidentally use more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
  • Do not stop using this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Precautions while taking this medicine

Possible adverse reactions to this medicine

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include itch, red rash on skin, contact dermatitis and gastric distress. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
  • hypotension, hives, swelling of throat, respiratory distress [shock, anaphylaxis]

Storage conditions and other information

  • Keep out of reach of children. Store away from heat, in a shaded airtight container.
  • After opening, zip-close the bag and use this medicine as promptly as possible.
